Week with Cousins

Living with your grandma has some advantages. It means that when your cousins come to stay for a week visiting for Christmas that you have built in friends, solid for a week. It helps that two days after your cousins arrive Christmas brings a multitude (relatively speaking) of presents to entertain you all. It also helps that your cousins have a Wii, which your parents have as of yet refused to buy, and you can play Dance Party 3 with your cousins every. day. for. the. week. It also helps that both grandma and grandpa are off work and are willing, interested, and excited take you and your cousins tubing, swimming, and to the museum. The down side is today, when your cousins go to spend the next week with their other grandparents, and you feel as if you've lost the best friends you've ever had.

For years whenever my brother's family comes to visit my mother hosts a Little Ladies Lemonade/Hot Chocolate  party (depending on the season). She has a ton of adorable old hats that the girls wear, and they eat at one table while their American Girl dolls eat at another.

I may have to steal a couple of these pictures for my blog! We had so much fun with you guys, and I have a feeling the girls will be experiencing a whole different world without their cousins to entertain them this next week.
